Community building

A community building app for every kind of community

Apartment buildings, neighborhoods, workplaces, schools and clubs all have the same problem: people live or work side by side and never really meet. Pasaq gives any group one private place to plan things together, and real local plans that happen once enough people say yes.

What gets in the way of community

Invitations get lost

Emails, flyers and group texts reach people but rarely move them. The next event is always "we should do something".

Plans need a firm yes

Without a clear count, organizers can't book, and without a booking people don't commit.

Organizers burn out

One person ends up planning, chasing replies and paying up front. When they move on, so does the community.

What you get

One place for a community to plan, decide and show up

Plans that only happen with enough people

Dinners, classes, games and day trips from real local deals. Each one needs at least 3 people to say yes, so nobody shows up to an empty room.

Hangouts anyone can host

A neighbor posts a walk, a game night or a coffee and others tap to go. No sign-up sheets on the lobby door.

Community events

Admins post events with a time and place, and people mark that they're interested, so you know how many to plan for.

Polls

Ask what people want, from the next event to a date, with one vote per member.

Announcements

Posts from admins that reach every member, in one place instead of a crowded group text or a flyer.

A community chat

One shared channel for the whole community, plus private messages between members.

You decide who gets in

People join with a code or invite link, and admins can approve each new member, so it stays residents and neighbors only.

Local businesses can sponsor

Nearby restaurants and venues can sponsor a plan for your community so it's free for members. You accept or decline every offer.

  • Apartment and condo buildings: resident events and welcome dinners
  • Neighborhoods and HOAs: block parties, walks and potlucks
  • Workplaces: team plans and cross-team mixers
  • Schools and parent groups: family outings and volunteer days
  • Clubs and sports teams: team dinners and away-game trips
  • Faith and interest groups: meetups, classes and service days

Doing things together is what builds community

1 in 2

About one in two adults in America reported experiencing loneliness in recent years.

60 → 20 min

Time Americans spent in person with friends fell from 60 minutes a day in 2003 to 20 minutes a day in 2020, per American Time Use Survey data.

Amplified

Sharing an experience with another person, even without talking, made it more intense: chocolate tasted at the same time as someone else was rated more likeable.

How it works

Up and running in a few minutes

  1. Step 1

    Start your community

Name it, pick its kind and you're its admin. It comes ready with real local plans near you.

  2. Step 2

    Invite people

Share a join code or invite link. Approve each new member if you want it private.

  3. Step 3

    Plan and show up

Post events, polls and plans. A plan books once enough people say yes; if it doesn't fill, nobody pays.

Every community has its own admins

Whoever starts a community becomes its admin and can add more. Admins invite and approve members, post announcements and events, run polls, set a shared budget if there is one, and approve the local businesses that can offer plans. Members can belong to several communities, say their building and their workplace, and switch between them.

Questions people ask

An app that helps a group of people who share a place or a purpose get to know each other, by making it easy to plan, decide and show up together. Pasaq does this with events, polls, a chat and real local plans that book once enough people commit.

Apartment and condo buildings, neighborhoods and HOAs, workplaces, schools and parent groups, clubs and sports teams, and faith or interest groups. When you start a community you pick its kind, and everything else works the same.

Yes. One account can be in several communities, like an apartment building and a workplace, and switch between them.
